What is there to do in SilverStar village besides skiing?
Brewer’s Pond skating, Tube Town and its mini snowmobile track, night skiing on Friday and Saturday nights, Elevate Spa and the fitness centre, the Bear Byway sculpture walk, the summer Gnome Roam and the Silver Star Mountain Museum with its summit fire lookout. Most sit within a few minutes’ walk of each other at the lower end of the village and in the village core.

Skating on Brewer’s Pond Google Maps
Winter
A 2.5-acre natural rink at the lower end of the village, with a fire, music and pond hockey. Skate rentals are at Brewer’s Pond Base.
Living nearby: Firelight Lodge sits beside the pond and Tube Town, the Creekside buildings are a short walk away, and at least one home on Kassa Lane backs right onto the pond.

Tube Town and the mini sleds Google Maps
Winter
Tubing lanes with a tube lift (ages 3 and up), plus a fenced mini snowmobile track for kids 6 to 12.
Living nearby: For families, being able to walk the kids to Tube Town and back is worth a lot. The buildings around the pond are the closest.

About 4 km of lit beginner and intermediate runs until 8:30 p.m., reached by the Gondola, the Silver Queen Chair and The Zone carpet, plus the Bannister Night Park.

An Aveda concept spa and a drop-in gym (open daily 6:45 a.m. to 10 p.m.) in the National Altitude Training Centre building.
Living nearby: Full-time owners use the gym all season. Snowbird Lodge also has its own Club Snowbird fitness centre and theatre for owners and guests.

Volunteer-run displays in the Chilcoot Lodge lobby, the Pinnacles Suites lobby and lounge, and the Vance Creek Hotel stairway, plus the old fire lookout at the top of the gondola in summer.
